नारियल
Scientific Name :Cocos nucifera
नारियल,खोपरा,नारकोल ,दृढ फल,स्कंध फल,त्रयम्बक फल ये नारियल के संस्कृत नाम हैं।
विवरण :
नारियल के पेड़ बहुत लम्बे होते हैं जिनकी ऊंचाई लगभन ७० फ़ीट -८० फ़ीट तक होती है या इससे भी ऊपर हो सकती है। नारियल भारत में ,कोलकाता ,मुंबई और जगन्नाथ क्षेत्रों में बहुतायत से पाए जाते हैं तथा नारियल के पेड़ समुद्र के किनारे अधिक होते हैं।
इनमे शाखाएं नहीं होतीं हैं , पेड़ के ऊपरी भाग में बड़े ,लम्बे एवं कड़े पत्ते व पत्तों का समूह होता है तथा इन्ही पत्तों के भागो में फूल व फल लगते हैं।
गुण :
नारियल शीतल, दुर्जर, मूत्राशय को शोधन करने वाला, पुष्टि कारक एवं बलदायक होता है। नारियल वात, पित्त तथा रक्तविकार को नष्ट करता है और दाह का नाश करता है।
नारियल का पुराना फल स्वभाव से भारी होता है तथा पित्त को बढ़ाने वाला , विदाही व विष्टम्भ कारक होता है।
नारियल का पानी गुण में शीतल,ह्रदय को प्रिय, अग्नि का दीपन करने वाला ,वीर्य वर्धक तथा हल्का होता है। नारियल का पानी तृषा व पित्त को नष्ट करने वाला , मधुर व मूत्राशय को शुद्ध करने वाला होता है।
नारियल का रेशा स्वाद में कसैला , स्निग्ध, मधुर,पुष्टिकारक और भारी है।
नारियल के फल को विभिन्न मांगलिक कार्यो एवं पूजा में उपयोग किया जाता है।
नारियल का तेल व्रण नाशक ,हल्का ,मधुर, चर्म रोग नाशक व बालों के लिए परम हितकारी है।

Coconut trees are very long with height up to 70 feet-80 feet or even higher. Coconuts are found in abundance in India, Kolkata, Mumbai and Jagannath areas and coconut trees are more by the sea.
They do not have branches, the upper part of the tree consists of large, long and hard leaves and leaves and the parts of these leaves bear flowers and fruits.
Quality:
Coconut is soft, formidable, bladder purifying, confirmation factor and force. Coconut destroys baat, pitta and blood disorders and destroys inflammation.
The soft coconut fruit destroys bile fever and other defects of bile.
