नारंगी ( नारंग )

विवरण :
नारगी के पेड़ मध्यम जाति के बागीचों में लगाए जाते हैं। इनकी अनेक प्रजातिया होती हैं। पत्ते नीबूं के सामान , फूल अत्यंत सुगन्धित और सफ़ेद रंग के होते हैं। फल गोल - गोल ,कच्चे अवस्था में हरे रंग के तथा पकने पर सिंदूरी लाल रंग के हो जाते हैं। इनकी प्रसिद्ध प्रजातियों में बागेश्वरी की नारंगी प्रसिद्द है। यह मुख्यतः ब्राज़ील,अर्जेंटीना और भारत में उगाई जाती है।
गुण :
मधुर , खट्टी , अग्नि को दीपन करने वाली तथा बातनाशक होती है। इसकी दूसरी प्रजातियां खट्टी , बहुत गर्म ,दुर्जर ,बातनाशक और दस्तावर होती हैं।
नारंगी एंटीकैंसर, एंटीएंक्सिटी,मोटापा दूर करने वाली , एंटीबैक्टीरियल, एंटीऑक्सीडेंट, पेस्टिसिडल और एंटीडायबेटिक है । इत्र और सुंगंध बनाने के आधुनिक तरीको में भी नारंगी का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
सौंदर्य प्रसाधन के उत्पादों को बनाने में भी इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Citrus trees are planted in middle caste orchards. They have many species. Leaves are lemon-like, flowers are extremely fragrant and white in colour. The fruits are round, green in raw state and sindoor turns red when ripe. Among their famous species, the orange of Bageshwari is famous. It is grown mainly in Brazil, Argentina and India.
Quality:
Sweet, sour, fire-lighting and antiseptic. Its other species are sour, very hot, formidable, antiseptic and dastardly.
Orange is anticancer, antianxiety, obesity killer, antibacterial, antioxidant, pesticide and antidiabetic. Orange is also used in modern methods of making perfumes and fragrances.
It is also used in making cosmetics products.
